Colleen, Certified Dental Assistant

Colleen entered the dental field because of her fondness of working with people.  She took her C.D.A. training at Douglas College in New Westminister and then moved from Langley to Kamloops in 2004.  After spending a few years living in Barrier and Heffley Creek, Colleen recently purchased her first home in Kamloops.  She enjoys spending time with her dog, Sierra, learning how to ski at Sun Peaks and spending time on our beautiful Kamloops area lakes and rivers in the summertime. 

Professional Distinctions

Colleen has had an incredible amount of experience in dentistry.  She spent several years working with a variety of dental practices in the lower mainland and Kamloops before beginning her career with Dr. Hansford in 2004. 

• She travelled to Las Vegas with our team to study customer service and excellence at Dental Boot Kamp. 
• Colleen took her Cerec training in Calgary as well as on DVD and online.  She is a highly experieced Cerec users in BC, having designed over 1000 units for our clients. 
• Colleen has taken implant training at the Pacific Implant Institute and is a member of the Association of Dental Implant Auxillaries.  She also received her Dental Assisting Implant Certification in Las Vegas at the International Congress of Oral Implantologists symposium. 
• Colleen has also been trained in Vancouver for Lumineers and Invisalign. 
• She also has studied Dr. Kois' restorative protocols through Creative Restorative Excellence online learning.
