Debby, Registered Dental Hygienist

Debby moved to Kamloops from the East Coast very recently to continue her dental career and to be closer to family.  She graduated from Dalhousie University with a diploma in Dental Hygiene and practiced in a family oriented dental clinic in the beautiful seaside community of Liverpool, Nova Scotia.  Now that she is in Kamloops, Debby persues her interests in various outdoor activities and continues to train in kick-boxing.  During her down time, she enjoys experimenting with creative outlets such as knitting, stain glass and jewellry making  Debby is an intergral part of the practice with Dr. Hansford.

Professional Distinctions

Debby has been working to efficiently transform all of our practice's dental records into digital format.  She uses voice recognition technology as well as good old fashioned 'school of hard knocks' to accomplish this massive undertaking.  This is a truely incredible achievement.

• Debby has studied to become a certified provider of both Lumineers and Invisalign. 
• She has taken a course in current best practices in lcoal anesthesia and is a certified provider. 
• She is a member of the Association of Dental Implant Auxilliaries and attended the International Congress of Oral Implantogists Winter Symposium in Las Vegas where she obtained her Dental Hygiene Implant Certification.
