Digital X-rays allow us fast, digital images using less radiation and providing us with more accurate tools for diagnosis. A digital sensor is now used instead of the traditional film packet. This sensor requires a significantly reduced exposure time and the amount of x-ray radiation is reduced by as much as 90%. We can save the images on our computer for instant retrieval and we can easily send them to insurance companies or specialists as needed.
