Shannon might be a familiar face to you from the photos on the ceiling monitors as Dr. Hansford's travelling companion.  She also happens to be Dr. Hansford's wife.  In addition to these leisurely roles, she support the practice through accounting, business development and marketing.  Shannon is currently taking an "extended" maternity leave from her profession of Registered Dietitian to do this.  Spending time with their son, Elliot, is how Shannon spends most of her time outside of the office. 

Professional Distinctions

Shannon has a Masters Degree in Science (Nutrition) and practiced for many years as a Registered Dietitian.  She has also attended many dental practice management courses with Dr. Hansford and his team:

• Leadership in Dentistry in Toronto (2001) and Seattle (2003)
• Dental Boot Kamp in Las Vegas (2005)
• She also attended the International Congress of Oral Implantologists winter symposium and received her Practice Management Implant Certification
